Episode 11: Beyond the Rim (Session 3)

Summary

Part 3:
The group now with two ships “Elusion” a Wayfarer class bulk transport and “Nightflyer” a stolen YT-2400 previously owned by Yav Yiyar. Both ships jump out of hyperspace close to Raxos Prime. Nightflyer catastrophically close to the Imperial spacestation in orbit. Thanks to Hawks brilliant piloting they avoid a collision. Meanwhile the crew of the Elusion struggles to convince the Imperial traffic control they have legitimate business to the planet. They are not very convincing and raise so much suspicion that “Nightflyer” can go about their business with out to much Imperial control. Elusion dives towards the surface with four TIE-fighters after them. They fly through valleys of junk and debris. The Elusion clearly not built for fancy flying crashes trough the trash starting an avalanche that takes two TIE-fighters with them. The other two shot down by the ship gun.


They struggle their way to Scapheap Point. IsoTechs secret base of operation. They are greeted by Norta manager of Scapheap Point. He tries to negotiate a primary deal of compensation with the group but are coerced by Raxxos to the degree that he blow Reoms cover and tells the group that Reom really is on Raxus Prime already. Under threat he take them to se Reom. While they talk to Reom, still in bed after treatment from an injury, the Yiyar clan attacks! It’s an attack from multiple directions and the group takes Reom with them and heads for their ship. Fighting their way through a massive  force of Yiyar mercenaries they finally defeat Yiyar clan once again. Unfortunatly they find that Nightflyer have once again returned to its former owner as it is missing. Elusion have been sabotaged with explosives during the attack. They begin repairs on Elusions when all of a sudden TIE-fighters flyby low over their location. Reom reveals that the Corellian Corvette among the junkheaps are in fact almost operational. All they need is a few last repairs and juryriggings and they should be able to blast off. They abandon Elusion and struggling against time and with Imperial forces fighting in the base they repair the most critical systems. They blast off, struggling to get out of the debris finally they break free and slowly lifts towards space. Just in time they make the jump to hyperspace and find themselves safe at IsoTechs flying base of operation IsoOne. Maydars debt to Reom is cleared (and so are the groups obligation towards Maydar). Their best reward is Cal Mallix lost ship, it’s been found and returned to him! 

Episode 10: Beyond the Rim (session 2)

Summary

Part 2:

The adventure begins in media res as the group hear the unknown starship closing in over the lake. The group, still in the remains of Sa Nalours crashed hull section sneaks out as the Yiyar clan exits their ship. Threats from the Yiyar clan is not taking lightly by the group and a fight breaks out. Dead eye accuracy and impressive firepower totally overwhelms the Rodians. They try to take of but afew of the group manage to get onboard and quickly takes control of the ship. They commandeer “Nightflyer” a YT-2400 belonging to Yav Yiyar the leader of the Yiyar clan. From the lake enormous lizards carrying Captain Harsol, his liutenants and two squads of old clone wars battledroids emerge suspiciously of the new arrivals. IT-3P0 quickly breaks the ice as he introduce the group to Captain Harsol.



Harsol brings the group upstream to “The Retreat”, the survivals fortified hidden settlement. Negotiations with Captain Harson and the cybernetic genious Cratala works out well for the group as they manage to convince Cratala and the rest of the survivals that they can protect them and give them an exciting new life working for IsoTech. Captain Harsol is not as convinced as he suspects they might be Imperial Spies out to infiltrate their camp. In the middle of the night the Empire arrives! Chaos breaks out in the camp and Captain Harsol now convinced the group lead the Empire here attacks Buzz. Harsol is quickly subdued and the group rally the survivals for an escape towards their ships. Sending out the remaning battledroids to delay the Imperial scouts as they flee along the river towards their ships. Both ships are guarded by Imperial Scout troopers and the group takes them down and hurry onboard. The Survivals and half the group on their large bulk transport ship “Elusion” and a skeleton crew flying “Nightflyer”. They escape Cholganna with the Empire in their heels.

Episode 9: Beyond the Rim (session 1)

Summary

Part 1:

Barret Maydar that moisture farms among the vast dunes on Tatooine have a history with Reom, the CEO of an outerrim based black market tech venture named IsoTech. The crew: Buzz a farmboy and aspiring scout, Cal Malix a smuggler that lost his ship, Ivan a hardworking mercenary, Hawk a charming lady and hotshot pilot, Mouth talker and the leader of the crew and Lilly a Twilek dancer and computerwiz.

Maydar asks the crew to take care of a business opportunity that have arisen with IsoTech. I chance to pay of an old debt to Reom that Maydar would be very thankful if the crew takes care of for him.

Arriving to the trading hub along the Perlemian trade route known as The Wheel with a cargo of pheasants picked up on the planet Kalix they make a fair deal with one of the local restaurants. They then head for IsoTechs office and meets Reom who explains the situation. A hyperspace message pod have been delivered to him with coordinates of the last known position of Sa Naalor, a banking clan ship rumored to hold riches of both precious metals and long lost technology. Lilly successfully repairs the probe enough to extract some navigational data and activate a holomessage from Captain Harsol (Dicestormers youtube)

Their mission is to bring the protocol droid IT-3P0 and search for the ship, its crew and its riches and bring what they find to IsoTechs salvage operation on Raxus Prime.

They prepare their trip and spend a lot of credits in the shops on the Wheel. Survival gear and better weapons in preparation for their treasure hunt. Hawk deals with an informationbroker that sells her some information about IsoTech, the planet Cholganna and Yiyar clan. She also learns that the Empire might be after the ship as well. Unfortunately the Yiyar clan notices Hawks interest in them and she have to run which she does successfully thanks to her charming personality that sways a bouncer to stop her pursuers.

Reoms sister calls them on their comlink and tells them IT-3P0 will be delivered to them in 5 minutes. No droid arrives and Buzz heads for the promenade to check what is going on. When he opens the door he finds guards knocked out and Yiyar clan members throwing the droid on a hooversledge and starts flying off. Fight breaks out and the group manage to take down their opposition and free IT-3P0. They pay a shopkeeper for their “loan” of his hooversledge during the pursuit and then ready the ship as fast as they can to leave.

They discover an Imperial homing beacon on their ship and removes it before continuing towards Cholganna.

Part 2:

They find Cholganna at the edge of the Chol nebula. After hours of searching the planets surface they discover the engine section of a ship. They land and investigate. The ship matches that of the Sa Nalour. It’s located in the middle of a river and sections above water have been stripped of technical equipment. Later they find the hull section at the edge of a lake. They find clues of survivors outside and enters the wreck to search for more clues of the whereabouts of the crew. They are ambushed by a pack of cybernetically enhanced nexus. They defeat the nexus. When silence returns after the battle it is soon broken by the sound of a starship closing in on their location…

Episode 8: Nerfs

Summary


Obligations where rolled and “criminal” comes up. Nawara Secura a former aid to a senator on Coruscant with a criminal background charged of conspiring against the Empire. The crew of the starship Elusion lands on a remote outerrim planet to pickup a load of nerfs (cowlike animal) from the local nerffarmer X. The farm has been suffering from attacks on their nerfs by a pack of mountain lions that recently started hunting in the area. The nerfherd is scattered and the crews’ first task is to drive the nerfs back to the farm riding eopie. Since most of the crew is complete strangers to animals as well as survival situations they struggle with their task. They get ambushed by two mountain lions as they are driving a heard back to the farm but manage to survive the attack. In total they manage to get forty of the fifty nerfs back to the farm and tries to con the farmer in to selling them cheap to them (despair). The farmer calls their bluff and knows very well what the nerfs are worth, he even gets so mad that they are forced to pay full price and pay for the lost animals. They load the nerfs in the ship and it’s a stinking and loud cargo they are hauling. They set course to a planet with a bustling cattle market in hope of making a good profit on their nerfs. They negotiate with a farmer over the price to rent a pen to put the nerfs in while they find a buyer (despair). They get a name of a farmer that might be interested but the despair also sets the obligation in motion. Soon after part of the group leave to find the potential buyer. Buzz, left on the ship cleaning up after the nerfs, notices an out of place man in a suite talking to the farmer. The farmer points at their ship and of in the direction that Nawara Secura went. Buzz and his team follows the mysterious man but are noticed. They take cover on the other side of the street as a herd of cattle on its way to the market passes. They notice that the man picks up a communication device and Buzz springs to action, jumping up on the back of the cattle passing by and jumping from back to back and finally launches towards the man. They end up on the ground wrestling. Raxxos Nem, toydarian ganster, rushes in to help Buzz. Threatening the now apparent Imperial agent to leave his crewmate alone (despair). The agent recognizes Raxxos as another wanted criminal! They see two squads of Imperial stormtroopers rushing against them and they have to run. Blasters firing, fleeing they make for the ship. A stray blaster bolt hit a tank that explodes and the second floor of a building collapses and rubble fills the street enough to delay the stormtrooper squads. They manage to lift off with imperial blasterfire bouncing of their starship hull. Leaving most of the nerfs and any potential of profit. This adventure originally had an end where they were going to negotiate against two different potential buyers with further complications. But since the despairs where rolled quite frequently I decided that the obligation would kick in really bad for them. This resulted in their flight from the empire and also the loss of the cargo.

Episode 6: Debts to Pay (GM Screen)

Summary

Encounter 1: Nar Shadda
The latest delivery of spice wine broke even with all the extra imperial customs tax that was layed on the Elusion not far from Alderaan. The crew are contacted by a Hutt emissary asking them to come to Borgas the hutt´s home. There they are given the mission to go to a mine Borgas won on playing cards. A band of gamorrean thugs attack the palace and the characters attempt to protect Borgas using blasters. They are overwhelmed and one of the characters maimed (lost both arms). Another kidnapped by the gamorreans. That character (twi´lek female) got a triumphant charm check and got to talk to a mercenary coordinating the thugs. She got away and joined the rest of the team. After a few days in bacta the maimed member had also recieved cybernetic surgery and joined the mission.


Encounter 2:
When they reached the mining colony they missed out on a few skill checks that didn´t give them any clue to what had killed some miners they found in the facility.

Encounter 3:
Rogue droids attack the players when they move through the mine. Cargo load lifters smash them to bits and only the twi´lek survived since she fled. The others were incapacitated and died as the atmospheric shield collapsed and the corrosive atmosphere came in on the mine.

In this adventure there was nothing said about the movement ability of the lifters. Perhaps I GM:d them to be able to move to fast. But hey they are pretty big right?

Episode 5: Festival

Summary

Encounter 1: Highgate
The crew of Elusion lands on Highgate a planet among a system of planets called the Blue planets. They deliver the grain shipment they picked up during last adventure to their trading contact and sets out to find a new shipment to pay for their trip to Alderaan that is their next destination. They are aware of that Alderaan is holding a planetwide festival to celebrate the year that passed the festival is also a response to the Festival week on Imperial Center that is an Imperial propaganda monstrosity. They realise that beer should probably be in high demand on a planet hosting a huge festival so they finds a brewery and convince the factory manager to sell them a few tanks of beer. Buzz and Lilly gets the idea of setting up a streetside bar. Buzz constructs a barsign and a counter. Lilly and Ace buy some fancy clothes to make a striking performance behind the bar. They take off and head for the festival on Alderaan.

Encounter 2: Festival week
The bar is an instant hit thanks to Ace ability to sell the beer as a premium brew when in fact it’s quite ordinary. They celebrate their success with a night out and when they watch the atmospheric fireworks display Cinder spots a sniper on the roof taking aim for a VIP-repulsorbarge. Cinder and Tiny takes down the sniper with a volley of blaster fire and the group manages to catch him alive. The security personnel of the VIPs rush to the scen and tells them they just saved the mayors son Christian Desora.

They wake up from the sound of the doorbell of their ship and finds Miranda, the aid of Christian Desora, delivering an invite to a meeting to thank them and offer them a business proposal. They head to the Desora estate and find themselves at the villa of one of the old noble houses of Alderaan. The meeting is a security mission to help protect Christian against further attempts on his life. He will be hosting a huge party of nobles and political allies and fears that the assassins will try to use this moment to strike again. They are offered to use the family's private docking facility during their stays on Alderaan and are introduced to Sallak the carpet salesman that have a special equipment arrangement where they can upgrade their equipment from their poor Tatooine blasters and slugthrowers.

Buzz got a alarming communication from their ship where Lilly says the ship just died. Theres been a sabotage. Buzz throw himself in the speeder and heads back. Just when he is about to park enter the Starport he spots a Wookiee running from their spacedock. Buzz realise this might be the Wookiee from “Jarrot Bat”, the smuggler ship they stole components and a gaming table from when they left Tatooine. Buzz chase down the wookiee and a fight breaks out. After taking a beating from the wookiee Buzz manage to stun him with his blaster and reclaim the equipment he stole from the ship. To further “rubb it in” he leaves a note on the wookiee saying “give a poor wookiee some credits” and hangs over his chest. The heads to the Sallak the carpet salesman and asks for the “special equipment”. They are shown in to the back room where they find a well stocked weapons and armors shop hidden. They buy some weapons and get them delivered in a roll of carpet. They arm themselves and head to the the villa to secure the place for the party.

Encounter 3: The party
The guests arrive and the party is in full swing. The group spreads out with Cinder and Buzz with theirs rifles on the roof overlooking the outside of the estate and Tiny and Ace covering inside the house. Ace spots a lady handling a weapon under her skirt and follows her. She realise she gets followed and soon Ace finds a gun pointing in to his lower back. They slowly moves through the party Tiny and Cinder picking up a hint on the comlink that something is up with Ace. Tiny se and opening and fires away at the female assassin as a shooter outside is spotted by Buzz. The decoy inside the building keep Tiny, Cinder and Ace engaged with a close quarter firefight while Buzz engage the shooter outside. Suddenly a cry shouts out from the balcony and Christian Desora is shot dead by the assassin outside. Buzz, to late, manage to shot the assassin and the rest of the group overpower the decoy inside. But their mission is a failure. With nothing written they have no business arrangement or docking permit for Desora docking facilities and finds themselves once again looking for work.

Episode 4: Emergency in the black

Summary

The team´s light freighter is moving through hyperpspace. They are licking their wounds from the encounter with the empire last episode but the lack of medical equipment makes life tough for the wounded (especially Tiny with a critical wound that makes him take a strain for every action… ). During the trip they receive an emergency distress call.

Encounter 1: Distress call
They drop out of hyperspace and make contact with a light freighter in distress called “The Stormcloud”. The captain, Darvon Bantels explains they have a malfunctioning hyperdrive and a very slow backup engine. They ask for assistance with repairs or help with hooking their towcable to another ship and ride piggyback to the nearest spaceport. They also state they are transporting grain for a port called Highgate amongst the blue planets ( mid rim, imperial influence in a more or less corporate sector). Jessica Hawk Hawkins rolls a triumph on her sensor roll so she finds out that the hyperdrive has been sabotaged. It isn´t a random malfunction. She keeps that to herself to start with. After docking the crew moves over to “The Stormcloud” and they are taken out to the cargobay to see the merchandise/cargo. The bountyhunter Cinder takes an interest of the passenger on the ship. They try to get something out of him, who he is and so on. They only get a name Arjen Dellis.

Ace and the captain agree on a 50/50 split on the earnings for selling grain on Highgate moving the carago to the Elusion needs to take place in a spaceport or at a dock. The cargo needs to be delivered within a week to make sure to get to the market that marks the beginning of the farming season on Highgate.

From the closest spaceport (Penscale on Tranos 3) it is a two day trip in hyperspace to Highgate and from that area in the black it was two days to the spaceport. While “The Stormcloud” uses it´s towcable shooter to attach to the Elusion Cinder and Hawk use the holonet to obtain information on the passenger on “The Stormcloud”. He appears to be wanted by the empire for rebellious acts on Wolastar (his real name is Tokar Caftarn). Bounty of 10 000 credits. Hawk, Cinder and Ace argue about trying to collect on the bounty on one hand and the other having issues with doing the empire a favour. Cinder and Ace vote for collecting on the bounty and Hawk protest. In secret she sends a text message to “The Stormcloud” that the passenger Arjen Dellis must stay hidden when they land or he will be attacked by bountyhunters.

Encounter 2: The Prince
While landing on Penscale spaceport the authority declares a fee of 50 credits per day for “parking” and a tax of 10% on all trades taking place. The same for all bounty collections. The corporate officer raises an eybrow at Cinder´s Bountyhunter badge but let´s the droid continue his trade despite him missing a restraining bolt or registered owner nearby. They are also required to renew their cargo hauling papers for a hundred credits.

When Cinder arrives to “The Stormcloud”, captain Dantels have hired several binary loadlifters that unload the grain containers. Cinder inquires the captain about the passenger and that he intends to claim the bounty. The captain rolls a deception check and succeds and convinces Cinder that the passenger is at the market in the town. He was actually hiding on “The Stormcloud” and moved out into the streets of the town shortly after.

The characters move into town where Hawk start to ask around for a doctor for Tiny. Ace goes to prowl the local establishments to try and make money at the gaming tables. (Only core rules were used for gaming rolls. Ace use deception). Ace rolled a success, triumph and despair and earned a lot of money but during the evening one of his opponents gets involved in a fight with attendants in the bar and the fight escalates, Cinder gets him out of the bar in one piece. However, before that Cinder walks round the small town to find his bounty and by rolling a triumph on his perception he saw the passenger buying a Grintha, a reptile like horse of common use on Penscale. Cinder attacks and shoots the man in the back as he tries to escape. He falls off the Grintha and Cinder beats him unconscious despite the fact he is shot with a hold out blaster as he approaches (Cinder has a soak of 7!!).Cinder brings his wounded prey to the local sheriff that takes in the bounty and calls a doctor to assist with the wounds of the injured soon to be inmate. Cinder leaves the scene and does not spot Hawk that has been watching the whole thing. She walks in to the sheriff’s office after the arrival of the doctor and his team of nurses. They start working on the patient and he seems to get better with the treatment. Jessica rolls five successes on her charm check with the dimwitted sheriff and get to check out the open cell with the new arrival in as the medical team leaves. She discreetly points to her blaster at her hip meaning for the “diatainee” to take it. He does just that and uses Jessica as hostage and threats to kill her if the sheriff doesn´t give up his weapon. He does and gets locked in the cell. Well out of there the rescued man thanks Jessica and kisses her cheek. He is the prince of :::: and led the rebellion on that world. Jessica learned that her brothers in the empire were leading the forces against this prince. As they part ways the prince moves towards “The Stormcloud” again and Jessica towards the bar.

Encounter 3 Cattle thieves
When Cinder arrived to the bar he discovered a hand written note asking for a bounty on cattle thief. After the barfight the team agree on talking to the woman (Frishara Vankar, overworked mother of one, a husband is a medical doctor) placing the bounty.

They meet her and she is the wife of a doctor and the mother of a four year old girl. The mother was beaten badly while trying to protect the cattle thieves (Leader. Zontho Skraffas (rival bountyhunter).Thugs Haggo (b pisotl), bearded human wearing a poncho and a hat, Duvrek (B pistol), lizard similar to a chamelion, Iqui (blaster rifle),afro human) take four of their grintars.

Frishara Vankar offers the team 250 credits, 2 units of spaceship fuel, one week of rations and free housing during their stay on Penscale. She also offers medical care from her husband. She shows the team a sensor they can use to track one of the grintars that had a tracking device under it´s skin. It appears to be out in the forest.

The team accepts and rents a couple of grintars and move out into the forest. While moving through the forest (the forest is damp, some small bogs nearby and so on...) they need to roll a resilience check with a difficulty of one with a black environmental modifier. If Cinder hadn´t made the check he would have become corrosion damaged, Hawk succeeded but Ace failed his check meaning he got lungworms. He got a black die on all checks until treated. They also failed their stealth check upon moving towards the encampment so all four bad guys were in cover during the firefight. It started at medium range and the bad guys in cover. It was still ok light so no more modifiers. The fight was kind of tough but the players shot down the opposition (three minions with balster pistols, shoddy and one minion thug with a shoddy blaster rifle and a rival bountyhunter. All from the core rule book). The cattle thievs tried to flee during the late part of the fight but were gunned down. When approaching the encampment they free a human woman who seemed to have been the bands prisoner and slave. She asks the team to take her with them and they accept. The loot they obtained was shoddy weapons, clothes, 150 credits, 2 litres of beer and a high quality bowler hat. They returned to the town with the stolen cattle and stayed with the family that had given them the contract. Both Tiny and Ace were treated by the doctor and are ready for the next adventure.

Episode 3: Dust to Dust

Opening Crawl:

Episode III: Dust to dust
Imperiet styr med järnhand över galaxen.

Summary

This is the third installment in the alternate universe campaign we run for Star Wars Edge of the Empire. Whats alternate about it is that Anakin Skywalker never existed, and thus the Skywalker family is not a part of this universe.

Encounter 1 “Storm”
The player characters stands in the shade of a market stall outside Mos Espa. They are trying to eat a not so good womprat stew that the toydarian vendor managed to con them into buying when they see a cloud of dust and debris on the horizon, a Sandstorm! They throw themselves into their landspeeder and race towards their farm to take shelter. There is a three part challenge on their way to the farm. First part is a fairly straight forward race over the “Dune sea” that then takes them in to the “Sandworm Ravine” a tricky and twisting ravine with sandpeople shooting at them from the top of the ravine! This leads them in to the third challenge. The “Krayth Jaw” a region of sharp rocks and cliffs. The sandstorm is now almost over them and they rush in to the farm gathering what equipment they can carry and run in to shelter in their earthship home of cavernous rooms in the cliff face of the farm. They bar the door and hope for the best. All of a sudden there is a terrible sound of rock and stone crumbling down the cliff outside. They find themselves trapped inside their cavernous home, lights go out and they stumble around in the darkness and finds a hidden passage behind a shelf that leads them to a large cave. Scaling a rock face and fighting mynocks they find a spaceship hiding in the cave. This is the ship Elusion that once took Barret Maydar and his allies to Tatooine. They crashed and managed to hide the ship i the cave. Looking for help in Mos Espa got the crew killed in an Imperial trap. Barret Maydar and a women named Natalia had stayed behind guarding the ship and thus survived.

Encounter 2 “A ruined ship”
They find the ship in a terrible condition with some vital parts damaged beyond repair and almost out of fuel. They gather what credit they have and head to the closest city Mos Espato find the parts they need to repair the ship. A shopkeeper have almost all they need except for one vital part to make the hyperdrive operational. After asking around they find out that theres a ship in town that has got the part they need. The YT-2000 Jarrot Bat in hangar bay 205, problem is it seems to have people guarding it. They negotiate with the Pyke syndicate to get access to their docking bay 49 in order to use the full service of their well equipped maintenance facility. They bring what they managed to get so far back to the farm and prepare to take the ship to Mos Espa. Low on fuel and with a damaged ship they have to make a quick burst out of the cave and conserve enough fuel to make a controlled descent down to docking bay 49. Thanks to their masterful pilot they make it!

Encounter 3 “Getaway”
Striking a deal with Mos Espas crime queen Arcona they agree to take on board some unmarked cargo containers in exchange the guards in docking bay 205 will be gone next evening. Negotiating with a mysterious Twi’lek man that calls himself Tao’Ayle he offers them a full load of fuel in exchange for taking him with them when they leave Tatooine. Now the only thing missing is the part for the hyperdrive. They break into the now unguarded docking bay 205 and steals not only the engine part but also the captains corellian brandy, his bedding and their gaming table! Triumphant they return to their ship and start installing the last part when the a large squad of stormtroopers storms the building guns blazing. They hold their ground long enough to get their ship of the ground, some of them badly hurt they con their way past an Imperial Star Destroyer before plotting a course towards Alderaan.

Episode 2: Deliveries

Summary

Encounter 1:
The players are in Mos Espa to pick upp supplies when they are contacted by associates of Bargos the Hutt. They meet the representative in a cantina and get a mission to 1. Go by train and deliver medical supplies to the small town of tranquility, north of Espa. Two days later they are to steal medical supplies from a caravan of sandcrawlers using swoopbikes. After thinking about the mission for a while they discover a microphone under the table in the shape of a spider. They shoot it and agree to the mission. Ace is also brought to arkona who asks him to take part in a game in tranquility and win back one of her slaves. He agrees, reluctantly.

Encounter 2:
The train trip goes well but during an inspection (a type of milita working for the empire, remember, parallel universe so we basically kill canon in this game) where it is discovered that the meds have a faulty labeling. Hawk uses charm to get the officer to skip his findings. Fingers takes samples from the delivery to have the medical droid at the farm analyze it.

Encounter 3:
They stake out the drop off point and find the meds are being taken to a place called Tranquility Clinic. They also notice a clinic with a lot of people outside in line to receive treatment. They get to know about the empires new restrictions on medical handling and that the prices have gone up. The only place they can receive treatment is from the doc at this clinic. Ace gets in to a gambling session and tries to win back the twi´lek friend for Arkona. He fails. When the winning gambler leaves the establishment they however try to convince the new “owner” to give her to them as Nikolai who made her slave at the first place (also the gambler hosting the game) sends out troops to obtain the dancer the pc:s have a shootout with them. Here Cinder rolled a triumph and gunned down a minion group of thugs the first round. They make it to the train and leave. On the farm they receive a verbal run down from maydar about them not doing their shores. They try to get some work done the next day. The day after they are to go hunting for the crawlers.
Encounter 4 They use the swoops to get up ontop of the crawler. I had one pilot check from Hawk with assistance dice for the whole group (how would you have done it?). They broke in to the crawler and met 3 security droids in bad shape trying to stop them. Ace shot and did a triumph roll which ended up in destroying the minion group (is that ok in the system? Minion groups being taken out like that?) After obtaining the medicine they leave the crawler convoy but are being chased by a group of swoops. I ran this encounter using one pilot check for the group. They got a despair and I had them moving through a system of caves in a mountain ladscape and suddenly they were in a dead end but there was a krayt dragon that started to chase them. They had to do chase rolls against all followers and I used speed and starting distance to keep the threats apart. With another triumph they and 3 setback I had the dragon destroy the hunters all but the main adversary spiker which discontinued the hunt.

Conclusion
They got the reward of 17000 but due to obligations and needing to buy parts for a solar power sail on the farm they only got some pocket money. It is very important to keep the money scarse in this campaign and we agreed on that solution.

Vontha, gangster in service of Bargos the hutt In tranquility Vontha have a shadowdocs and facilities that can serve as a cheaper alternative to the official medical institution. However, to bring down costs Vontha have tried to obtain fake medications from the blue planets. The fake meds are sometimes working but seldom, they are everything from sugar pills to flat out dangerous medications. Like administering cytostatica pills to someone not sick with cancer. Bad, bad side effects that really threatens the life of the patient. So, don´t think that Vontha is interested in doing society something good. He is probably going to cause a lot of problems and even deaths. To start up the business there are two things that need to happen. The first thing is getting the fake drugs to tranquility and two days after that, make sure the delivery of real medicines never make it there except through Vontha´s channels. He needs to snatch the real medicine transport out to tranquility. The one the good Samaritan and countryside doctor Doc Armin Brinch ordered to be able to keep treating his patients. Simple enough…

Bandis Rikker, is also interested in starting his own medical network. He is an influential politician with a family deeply involved in supplying medical supplies to the empire. He was one of the senators orchestrating the new and tighter laws around medical handling and production as a way to provide further business opportunities for his family’s medical company. At the same time he knows the opportunities on the black market are arising and wants to take part using associates all over the outer and mid rim. Branching out from the blue planets he started setting up shadow medical facilities through a criminal syndicate. (No Bandis Rikker reqruits Spiker and his swoopgang)

The real medicine in the crawler is ordered by Doc Armin Brinch, a good old fashioned countryside doctor with a strong will to help people in need. He moved out from the core systems to the outer rim and finally settled on tattooine with a few of his friends with the same goal. They are deeply annoyed by the new rules and run their medical facility with low resources low costs and with a lot of heart.
