Summary

Hawk and Lilly hurries away from the farm as they learn that their neighbor Beric Stenyard will be the dinner guest. They find it awkward to sit down for an evening meal with Triggers father. Trigger who one of their friends shot and buried in the desert only a few months back…

They head to Far Point station to hang out with other local youngsters. When they arrive they find a funny looking ithorian and his froglike friend, Pranda and Azlee. They are obviously out of place in the middle of the desert. The two ladies walk right up to them and introduce themselves. Charming and friendly as only Hawk and Lilly can be, the newly arrived aliens find themselves warmly welcomed to Tatooine and trust them well enough to tell them the latest news and rumors from Mos Espa. Apparently the Empire is on the move and they are looking for Trigger. It appears Trigger might have informed the Empire of a goldmine hidden somewhere on the planet.

They also learn that Alania Manska, a smuggler baroness, are looking for people to do runs for her.

Hawk hears news of an old friend, Tokar Caftarn or Prince Caftarn. Seems he is once again wanted and the infamous Corlix is in town on the look for bounties.

Right when they are having a good conversation with their new alien friends the Empire arrives! Lt. Ulmar Volkart makes a general search in Far Point station. Specifically looking for Trigger or anyone from Liberty Farm how might know Trigger. Hawk manages to charm Lt. Volkart who instantly fell in love with this lovely lady. Apparently a ladies man and on his own agenda, serving more himself then the empire he tells them he is looking for that goldmine. Hawk manage to sneak out of his arms before anything more serious unfolds. They switch com-frequencies before Lt. Volkart heads back to Mos Espa.

Hawk and Lilly returns to Liberty Farm and discusses if they should warn their neighbor that the Empire is looking for his son and a goldmine or if they should look in to it themselves. Lilly remembers that she repaired Mr Stenyards R2-unit once and she finds some old data still left on her pad. She deciphers the navigational data of the R2-unit and finds the location of a cave-like structure and a recording of the last seconds before the droid was damaged. The droid was carrying something from the cave when there was a power surge from some cables in and then it was knocked out. This needs investigating…
